To celebrate Animal Day, we read a story of pets. The Good family decided to adopt a pet at an animal shelter. After that, we played a game to practise the animals we had learnt.

On April 29th it was the Animal Day. A good day to remember to be nice, friendly and caring to all creatures on this planet. They deserve to be loved.

Yesterday, March 20th, it was Meatout Day-a special day in which vegetarians invite people to become a non-meat eater. They give you information on how to start being a vegetarian and on the benefits of a vegetarian diet on your health, the environment and animal well-being. Bienvenidos a nuestro proyecto sobre La Granja

The students in 2nd form did a one-month project on the farm and its animals. We learned a lot about animals, watched a video, read a story and made two books!
Los alumnos de 2°grado hicimos un proyecto de un mes sobre la granja y sus animales. Aprendimos sobre animales, miramos un video, leímos una historia y escribimos dos libros!

First, we learnt about the different animals we can find at the farm, we learnt songs about them and prepared an individual book.
Primero, aprendimos sobre los diferentes animales de la granja, aprendimos unas canciones y preparamos un libro para cada uno.

Then, we read a traditional story on the Interactive board called "The Little Red Hen"
Después, leímos un cuento en la pizarra interactiva.
Once we had finished, it was time to write our own book on the board.
Una vez que terminamos, llegó el momento de escribir nuestro propio cuento en la pizarra.

Finally, we watched a video about a flying hen called "Peg, the Hen" and prepared a short summary on the story, which we put on the board.
